So, I want to share how my day went last Sunday, my experience going into a fish port for the first time. This weekend our whole family went to a beach here in the Philippines, it's in Subic, Zambales. We arrived there early in the morning, aroung 3:30AM so we can still go to the wet market to buy fresh fish or seafood and grill it at the beach.

We went to the Fish Port after we secured our accomodation near the beach. It was still dark in the fish port when we arrived but surprisingly you would see a lot of people already in there too. Fisherman were busy arranging their catches and selling it. A lot of locals are also up early to make sure they would be able to buy the freshest fish. :)

I took all these pictures using my smartphone Samsung Note 4. Since it's still a bit dark, the quality is not that good but I hope you still love it.

This is the first thing that we saw upon entering the port. Wow! Fishes! And lots of fishes! 🐟🐠

Busy fisherman. Did you know that you can buy that pile of fish for only 100 pesos? That's only 1.90USD! So cheap and fresh! And yes, we bought those. 😁

Beautiful fish! Awesome deal too. Thanks for sharing.

thank you for dropping by. glad you liked it. :*

The picture quality isn't too bad. Those fishes look really fresh and cheap too. They sure are gonna make some tasty meal.

Thank you for the kind words sweetie. Fresh fish are the tastiest. Here's one of the meal my mom cooked at the beach. We brought a portable butane to cook food. DSCF2826.JPG

It's called Pinangat. A fish stewed in sour sauce and tomatoes. :)

Wow, that looks really delicious. Pinangat... That's filipino, right?
