10 mysterious places in the world
There are many places around the world that are full of mysteries. Scientists still not able to solved those mysteries yet, whereas the secrets of many places are partially solved, though research is still going on to find the truth. SO in this article I will tell you all about 10 such mysterious places around the world which are still an unknown mystery to the world. Some of these places have become a hotspot for tourists nowadays.

  1. Blood Falls, Antarctica
In Antarctica's Taylor Glacier, there is a place in the frozen ice from which the red color flows. The first was discovered by American biologist Griffith Taylor in 1911. The blood fall is as tall as a five-storey building. Many reasons are famous for the flow of red water from this fall. Seeing this, it seems that this spring is bleeding. However, scientists did much research on this but did not get any definite results. First of all, according to biologists, the lake flowing beneath the glacier solidified and the glacier started coming out of crack.
One of their estimates is that in this place under the ice there is probably a lot of iron element which gives the water red colour. At the same time people believe that there is a dwelling of many souls, which kills people, that is why its color is red.
Antarctica is then surrounded by many mysteries anyway. Cold is also dangerous here too. Therefore, there is no mention of life besides penguins and scientists -who are doing research at this place.
  1. Michigan Triangle
Like the Bermuda Triangle, there are many tales of this Michigan Triangle too. It is said that no plane passing through it has been known to date. In 1937, a pilot named Captain George flew toward the Michigan Triangle, after which no news of the pilot was received till today, nor did that of the plane. But this is not an anecdote. In another story, a rider Plane turned to the side of the Michigan Triangle in 1950, due to bad weather, and since then there is no clue of that plane yet. UFOs were also seen in the area or reported bright lights in the sky.
In 1921 eleven people inside the ship, who were all members of the Benton Harbor House of David, disappeared and their ship turned over on its side and floating in Lake Michigan. While it appeared that the ship had been damaged in a collision, as no other ship had reported an accident and nothing else had been found. Many found the incident particularly frightening because the Rosa Belle had been rebuilt after an earlier wreck in the 19th century, very similar to the deadly one in 1921.
  1. Magnetic Hill, Moncton, New Brunswick
This Magnetic Hill is special in itself, as it is an example of a gravity hill ( a special type of illusion) created by rising and descending land. There is such a magnetic impact on this hill that the car starts running without starting. The location of this hill was known in 1930. It is located in the city of Moncton, Canada. The work of finding the secret of this place is still in progress. This place has become a tourist place today. There is also a Magnetic Hill in Ladakh region of India.

  2. Surtsey, Iceland
The Icelandic Island is no less than a mystery. Before the year 1963, this island had no existence. The volcano continued to explode until 1967, as well as rising and height of volcano. When Volcano was at peace in 1967, there was an island left over here. A volcano erupted suddenly inside the water in 1963. During the next three years its volcanic core built up an island of (2.5 square km) in area, with mount reaching (171 metres) above sea level and (290 metres) over the abyssal plain. Since then, erosion has reduced the ground level of the island to (154 metres) above sea level and shorten its area to (1.4 square km), in 2008. At the sight of the eruptions, a column of steam nearly (6 km) high deposit ash over a large area, including the Vestmanna Islands. After Surtsey cooled, large number of geologists, biologists, and ecologists visited it, and it is now the site of a biological research program being conducted by Icelandic and American scientists.

  3. Moeraki Boulders, New Zealand
A pile of 12-12 feet stones is not less than a mirror on a Koch Beach located in the East Coast of South Island, New Zealand. This stone is like oyster and pearl in appearance. Scientists explain the boulders as calcite concretions formed about 65 million years ago. But local Māori saga explained the boulders as the remains of eel baskets, washed shoreward from the wreckage of Arai-te-uru, a large sailing ship. Their rounded shape indicates that the source of calcium was a mass dispersal, as against to fluid components. The construction of these stone shaped structures is done in the millions of years by the solidification of four and some oceanic sand of some fossil or solid cheese.

  4. SVALBARD
Svalbard is the Norwegian islands in Greenland, Arctic Sea. It was first discovered by William Barentsz in 1596. It is a very popular destination during the Second World War. The islands were firstly used as a whaling base in the 17th and 18th centuries, later on they were deserted. Coal mining started at the beginning of the 20th century, and several permanent communities were established later on. It is said about this place that the sun does not end here from April 20 to August 23. At night also the sun is present all the time. But this logic of local people is still a mystery which in unsolved.

  5. Pamukkale, Turkey
This place, in Pamukkale, Turkey, is a unique place in itself. River Menderes flows near this place. This place is famous because there are 17 natural hot springs here which are for thousands of years, which are formed by a carbonate mineral left by the flowing water. The calcium carbonate is formed by exposure to the exterior air of the stainless mineral in the water of these waterfalls, which has been deposited on thousands of years on the banks of these waterfalls so that these water bodies have taken shape like swimming pool. When the water mixed with calcium carbonate and reach the surface, carbon dioxide regenerates from it, and calcium carbonate is deposited as a result of this regeneration. Calcium carbonate is deposited by the water as a soft gel which finally crystallizes into river. The temperature of the water in these hot springs ranges from 37 degrees to 100 degrees. Taking this type of natural hot water is especially beneficial for our body, especially the skin. Pamukkale is a tourist attraction. It is acknowledged as a World Heritage Site in 1988 together with Hierapolis.

  6. Eternal Flame Falls, Orchard Park, New York
It is a small waterfall located in Western New York. Here at its base, a burning flame is visible. The visitors are surprised to see how this flame is burning. Due to its increased popularity among visitors, it has accustomed to many negative impacts such as pollution, increased in rubbish etc. Researchers believe that some tectonic plates shift is the reason behind the burning flames at the waterfall. The smell of the gas is like rotten eggs, which is very annoying for the visitors throughout the season.
Eternal Falls is dependent on good rainfall because if there is very little rainfall eternal fall is not filled with enough water, which reduces the chance of the flames to be visible.
Many types of research had been conducted by several concerned authorities at several points in time. After such research’s, scientists came to know that methane gas was released from the bottom of the rocks which causes the flame to burn at the base of the waterfall. Perhaps it is also said that at some point that at the beginning of the 20th century, somebody set fire to this methane gas which results in the burning of flame. Since then it is continuous burning which makes it a tourist destination throughout the year.

  1. Moving Stones – Death Valley, California
In California's Death Valley, slippery slopes of stones have also been for NASA an unsolved mystery. It is a geological occurrence where rocks move and cut long tracks along a smooth valley path without any sign of human and animal involvement in its happening. Stones here are scattered and are moving away from themselves. These stones are very big in size and composition. The range from about 15 to 46 cm in diameter. There are more than 150 such stones here. However, no one saw them moving away from the eyes. In the winter, these stones fall to more than 250 meters away. Scientists of many countries have visited this place to solve its mystery but no one clearly come to a specific conclusion behind this phenomenon. Some scientists believe that due to climatic changes this is happening.
However, in 1972 a team of scientists was formed to solve this mystery. The team named a group of stones and studied it for seven years. Around 317 kilograms of stone named Kerin did not move at all in these seven years. But when the scientists returned there a few years later, they found that Kerin had moved a distance of 1 km away.
Several floods also happen at this place for many years. The weather condition near this place is also very uncertain, the wind blows very fast here throughout the year round.
Because of all these factors now scientists believe that this happens due to high-speed winds. Though the main reason behind this is still a mystery unsolved.

  2. Old Faithful, Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone National Park meets the world's most influential geysers. Primal Geyser is a kind of hot water fountain but in which the water comes out of the ground as a fountain. There are about 300 generic geysers in this park. But the most famous of these is the Old Faithful. It is named in 1870. It is the world's highest hot water fountain. There is a regular explosion in it. Mostly these explosions are very strong. But the mood of the explosions in these days is a puzzle for the geologists. As there is no definite order of explosion here.
Many types of research had been conducted at this place by the geologists of several countries. Some researchers predict that due to fog formation at nearby this place cool air from above mixes with hot air from below, this interaction of both the air results in the explosion. Explosion differs in the summer and winter season here.
