Auguri is my nickname, and fuckin' up motherfuckers is my game!
According to babygaga.com whenever you want to wish someone well for any occasion, that brings out a positive vibe. For instance, if someone is studying for an exam, or is preparing for a job interview- you will want to wish them the best of luck. Or, if they landed a job, got married, had a baby, or announced that they are having a baby, you will say congratulations- or in Italian, you will be using the term auguri.
Auguri basically means sending someone well wishes whether you are wishing them luck or you are congratulating them. It depends on how you use the term in the language, according to Italy Magazine. But either way, auguri is a beautiful Italian word. That said, for a name of a girl, it sounds lovely and it can certainly be used. Especially since it has such a positive meaning and gives off a sunny vibe.
I did look through baby name databases and did not see Auguri in any of them at all meaning it has never been used- or if it has, it's been used so rarely that it has not been documented. But if there was a beautiful Italian word that would make a lovely name for a girl, Auguri would be it!
I would rather like the lovely nickname Cazzi (Sticazzi) or Tura (Spazzatura)
