It's -17Ā°C here right now, but our usual low temperature is -6Ā°C. This cold is bad right now.
But in 2 days it will be 7 to 10 degrees C here, so all this snow will melt!

That's true, but I ran off the road yesterday; with no traction. So I'm ready for it to melt! This is a record low for us here.

No roof is bad for sure! Most have rigged a tent to stay dry. But this cold is brutal!
