#005 - Just another day.
Had an opportunity to take this photo of a middle aged woman, an Ifugao local to this remote village, who is busy collecting sprouted rice seedlings which will be planted in her open fields.
It was the start of planting season when we visited this Unesco site. Villagers are busy preparing planting, germinating their crops for the next harvest season.
Note that the brown/black rice harvest they recently had is just for their family comsumption that will help them last for the next harvest. That is why rice is very important to them.
