#686 - Ilocos and La Union shots for Tuesday.
Greetings once again on a gloomy night. There's a storm within the country but it's not affecting us much here in the metro only in the northern part of the country is getting rains. But here the rain is sporadic, there rain during dawn but that's about it. Hopefully it stays that way just with the clouds in the sky to cover the sun in the early morning so I could go out for some walk.
For our first two photos of the day let me send us back to La Union which is a province in the north and is close to Ilocos Sur already. After our last day of stay in La Union we went to visit one of the spot which is famous to visitors which is this light house within the compound of the air force base in this area. We just explore a bit and took this shot with the group of my wife that we joined in.
Then we also visited a place which they called A Man made forest which is along a provincial road which is not that used a lot. There's a bit of time that you can spend in the middle of the road and take photos before a vehicle arrive. The forest is mostly because pf mahogany and narra trees that were planted on a bit of stretch of road.
Then the succeeding shots were taken from Ilocos Sur already in one of the beach there where there are black sands across its lengthy shoreline. The wife pose for a portrait in this one.
Then we can see the sun along the horizon and is about to set already in less than an hour.
Here we have the wife once again with the bubbles created by the waves as it reached the sandy shoreline. The waves here are not strong so this is one of the best place for kids.
Next three shots shows different frames of the same clouds formation but also in different zoom levels. Started with wider frame until I got close to the clouds already with a zoom lens from the Panasonic camera. Captured the beams of light as it try to escape from the clouds presence.
Then we have here the friends of my wife, they are actually a couple and they brought their dog with them. The dog is right there near the water taking a pose while they photograph it. The dog surely knows how to follow instructions hehe.
Then lastly is this shot with our feet together with the sands and the waves nearby. The fine sands which are black here is also the same fine quality with the beaches I have seen in the south particularly in Siargao. The waves here are calmer too unlike in Siargao which are big.
