#708 - Ilocos Shots for Sunday.

Happy Sabbath morning dearest beloved Hiveans. Finally it's my rest day so no other things to do but laundry day. Earlier in the morning though I went to the university near us for some walks then went straight home and started the laundry.

Yesterday afternoon after my shift ended I also went to the market with my son. We went there because he needs to buy a sombrero and a leather belt in black colors. He has already two belts but not black one. Then we also went to buy three kilos of red rice at $4. Then we saw a dirty ice cream vendor on the side of the road so we also bought two orders.

For our daily shots we got here several photos from our travel in Ilocos region. These first few were taken in a famous church called Paoay church. The church is located in the north or norte and we just passed by here to check it out. This was built I believe during the Spanish era 1700s. We stopped by for an hour and took some shots,we we're here with three other friends. The church is made with mud bricks if not mistaken and is prone to wear especially with earthquakes so they have been working on fortifying the base of the church to keep it up for the next generations to see.

Then the next two shots were taken in Ilocos Sur where Calle Crisologo is located. The wife rode a calesa pulled by a strong white brown horse. The houses here were also during the Spanish era. It's a world heritage and people visit this place a lot to experience what it looked like back in those centuries that Spain ruled over the country for a long time.

Then these last few shots were taken in the border of Ilocos Norte going to Cagayan valley. This long bridge is called Patapat viaduct which is located in the last town of Ikocos Norte called Pagudpud. The viaduct is already near the ocean facing the area of Taiwan. We went here among other tourists who wanted to see this viaduct and have a photo. It's also an experience driving a manual ride all the way here. Finally, we were able to reached this farthest north. I hope I could do the same going to the south in the future.😊
