Also, when it is lightening before a storm at night, the sky lighting up is just beautiful. The thunder scares my cats, which always follows a lightening flash. Sometimes these storms can go on for several hours and it is so nice to listen to some music on the radio and maybe sip on a soda pop or even coffee and just watch the lightening show that mother nature puts on. I'm relaxed after the storm passes and a lot of times I have put down some really good thoughts on a notepad I keep nearby. Just one of life's simple pleasures.
