This mushroom is anticancer. Farmaceutical industries use it to produce a substance called krestin, a very potent inhibitor of lung cáncer.
It is very common. this one was found it in my neighbor´s fence.
It can be recognized by its concentric color bands, also it has no gills (as the button mushroom), insted it is porous like a sponge, then it belongs to a group of mushrooms called Polypores.
ahh, it is found around the world, even in urban places.
