Nothing is more satisfying than watching a plant grow from a seed-or in this case a leaf!! Except maybe taking photos of them!
If you have a damaged or strangely-shaped succulent, simply pluck off the leaves and propogate them! Or cut off the top and re-plant that into the soil, allowing it to re-root and take proper shape. Adequate sunlight, water, and fertilizer can make a big impact on the shape and color of a succulent.
After your succulent has been fixed, feel free to snap and post as many pictures as you want! Plant photography is a great hobby, and with so many varieties of succulents (which include cacti!) you can never run out of subjects. Gardening is an art, so why not marry that with the art of taking pictures?

That bottom photo is really nice! When I see succulents at a restaurant or in a library or other public places, I always look for little bits on the floor or windowsill where they are sitting. I've gotten some nice plants that way, starting the plants from the little leaves.
