RE: Koi Pond Spring Cleanout

we are similar I think...We like home too generally although we go out a bit also, mainly outdoorsy-stuff rather than cities. We prefer our own company and the occasional company of good solid people at times too. We have a fire pit night planned for the weekend...If it stops raining.

Glad to hear you're starting to seek more balance...Working too much is...Well, let's just say life is precious. I worked a lot when in sales (commercial and residential property) and fortunately those days are over. 89 hours...Sounds familiar...But hope never to see that sort of week again! Lol.

Sort:

Yup, same here with the hours. I thought I was done with that 10 years ago, but new job a year and a half ago with new responsibilities and less authority, blah blah. I find a nice balance for me is 50-60, less I feel bored, more I get tired of dealing with and interferes with my hobbies and downtime. Ah, well only temporary, right? Hope to be back on track within a month and in time for July vacation.

There's nothing wrong with hard work as that's what moves one forward...But balance is required. I don't agree with 50/50 balance though...Mine's 100% balance...Meaning 100% at work, and 100% not at work when I don't need to be, Makes me more productive at whatever I'm doing. You got long off in July?

Got a week to spend in Florida beach house with our kids/grand kids. Looking forward to the gap in the flu spread by then enough for people to get some sense back.

Nice! Well, that's certainly something to look forward to. Not far off now.
