My day was very productive, I engaged in one of my favourite activities moving from place to place.And while going about my day I came across something that made me pause.
Beauty in nature.
I saw a tree full of fruits. Out of curiosity, I went closer to see what kind of fruit. When I came closer I noticed it's an apple fruit. Although it's referred to as local apple.( That's what the people call it) I know we have many varieties of apples in the world, but I can't even Identify this one.
I can't say which species this is, but it was a sight to behold. The fruit was just hanging beautifully and it's so inviting.
Not too far from there, I saw some people coming out of the bush where they went to fetch firewood. I just remembered the stories we use to read about people living in rural areas and how they depend on firewoods to prepare their daily meals. Seeing it makes the story more real and it felt different and more grounded.
Then I realised how fortunate some of us are, we are privileged to use gas for cooking .
Moments like this make you appreciate both simplicity and growth. The beauty of nature. The reality of different lifestyles. The quiet lessons hidden in ordinary days.
