People don't stop and smell the roses anymore.
Everyone is living this fast paced life now. I mean we should just remove the speed limits on all roads and change it to "drive at your own fucking speed". It's a death trap on any road where I live in Wisconsin. Highway used to be 65 now its 70. So everyone is doing 80-90 now. I can do the speed limit and people fly by me like im not even moving.
The planet is dying, yes it is! People don't see it. I DO! Just go for a walk somewhere you went 20 years ago, I bet its not nearly as lush and beautiful as it once was. Sad thing is no one cares either. I was fishing one day in a prime spot (well it was at one time) and had seen the DNR walking around checking licenses. When they got to me I politely asked what the hell my 20 bucks a year for a fishing licence was going to. Every year they shut down more and more fish hatcheries. I never see them out protecting a damn thing. We have toxic blue-green algae in all our lakes from the overuse of fertilizers on grass...YET no one is out talking about that. It gets some screen time on the local news from time to time but it doesn't seem to do anything. Id rather have ugly brown grass and clean lakes than the other way around.

Technology is great, its also a curse!
Technology is great, cell phones, internet, global communications and life saving technology. But are we really selling our great beautiful planet away for technology. Id say we are. There is so much plastic on the planet now, its a REAL scare that we could literally die of plastic toxicity! Whales, fish and other ocean animals are dying at an alarming rate as they eat all the plastic pollution we now throw into the ocean. Not to mention all the circuit boards and heavy metals they contain rarely are recycled properly along with batteries and everything else. DO NOT EVER THROW THESE THINGS IN THE GARBAGE! Always find a recycling center that takes these. THEY ARE TOXIC TO THE ENVIRONMENT!!!
Everyone has an opinion, No one has a solution.
In the day and age of social media everyone seems to have an opinion that leads to hatred, disrespect and an overall fuck you attitude. I'm right your wrong. The leaders of countries don't seem to care about the people just business and whats good for them. Yet we have huge platforms like facebook, twitter, pintrest and up and coming steemit. Why not all collaborate together to fix it. No we would rather belittle one another instead. Tell each other off like a bunch of school kids and incite riots in the street. THE GOVERNMENT LIKES THIS. Separate and divide the people of the world! THINK ABOUT IT!
Scientists use the world as a playground, REAL science is considered a joke.
We have plenty of scientist that think the earth is their playground and don't care about the ill effects of there projects. I'm sure you can think up a few that are highly dangerous and stupid experiments going on. If you don't know what they are you need to wake up. A really good one you can probably see from your backyard. Just look at the sky. They can lie and say those trails are just water vapor, but its funny they only started showing up 5-8 years ago...Geo engineering is real.
On the flip side its hard to do real research anymore because if you do everyone calls you some wacko, not to mention no one wants to hear the truth anymore, just whats good for their motives, or what they want the people of the world to believe. Doesn't matter if you can scientifically prove it in a lab over and over with the same results. Someone out there is gonna say your research is bunk bullshit...
The biggest one? Most People have been lied to their whole life!
Honestly we are at our end game. Its said that my generation (Im 30) and the one after me are THE LAST two generations that can save the planet, we are so close to hitting points that there is no going back. There is so much lies and deceit in the world its unimaginable. If you think the TV is telling the truth, or your teacher they probably don't have a clue. We put people in social classes based on how much money is in their bank account. Do you know how stupid that is?!?! Not to mention the laws and regs that govern us specifically here in my country of the USA are so AGAINST our constitution and bill of rights that if 1/3 of the country actually read them we would be overthrowing our own government for treating us like a bunch of slaves.
Its time the people of this planet take back what is ours, its been too long that the great powers at will have trashed the planet, polluted it all along keeping us in the dark. Yea I might sound like some looney conspiracy theorist nut job. Just take my fishing as an example. I live right near Lake Winnebago its the biggest natural man made lake (It's technically a swamp) its considered the premiere lake to fish on in WI. When I was growing up you could limit out on a daily catch in hours. You can spend the whole day out fishing now and be lucky to catch a few. THAT'S JUST ONE LAKE on a very big planet. Trash never used to be everywhere you go, now it is EVERYWHERE YOU GO.
Yeah people like to drive too fast. They have nothing going on their life. Just roll'n' coal.
Or they have too much going on they have too speed at break neck speeds to get there...I don't know what the hell the rush is all the time. Its insane..
We were made to love people and use things. What happened that made us love things and use people?
I think its just society. Everything is about having the newest best thing. People are no longer humans. They are things people can have. No one thinks about the potential side effects of any actions anymore. Its just the new exciting, toy that everyone wants...
Money is truly the root of all evil too, we put so much emphasis on money, and having the life that we forget to look at the planet and realize the most beautiful thing you could ever have is the company of another human and a beautiful planet.

The world around us is dying and it's nice to see that other people realize that. Everyone's too worried about their new car having wifi to entertain their 3 kids with. Why do we even need that type of technology? I personally think that those types of "improvements" are a waste of all time and energy. It keeps people lazy and they don't even realize it.

You're completely correct, in my country (Belgium), I have noticed a turn around in the last few years. Some animals in lakes and rivers are coming back, slowly but steady...

Meanwhile Trump is too busy playing a game of chess against King Jong Un with nuclear warheads as the pawns. Really wish that it was greener parties (left, central or right) growing in popularity not alt-right, populist ones.
Not a fan of this so called world either.
I just wish 3rd party got at least 5% of the vote last election year then at least they would get to speak at the debates next election year. I'm sick of the two party system pissing match every election year. Its like lets belittle each other, god forbid we would talk about REAL WORLD PROBLEMS!
