This probably sounds stupid how do you know when you can walk on it, is there a testing method for depth
Thank you for comments. I never walk on sea ice. It have to be 10 cm thick.before you can walk on the ice and you must drill holes for checking the thickness. Ice on lakes ic stronger and much thicker can be one meter thick. I use to fish on lakes at tase time of the year.
