RE: Check Out This Stunning Eco-Palace Made From Old Car Tyres!

Fascinating, @eco-alex, thanks for sharing! Access to land could be a challenge for people in some countries, but the resources to build the houses themselves are inexpensive, as you say. Look forward to hearing more from you. Upvoted, followed and resteemed.

thank u .. I'm based in india since the last 11 years.. Its a good place to build and learn cheaply and also they are very receptive to this kind of thing here.

India is amazing in many ways,, but i especially love how access to land works here. Most of India is really Government land (known as B-Memo Land).. You can basically do what you want on it. You run the risk of being moved on, but mostly people live and are able to just do what they need to survive without problems.. I cant imagine trying that in many places..

Ah, South Africa, my home...land is not a straightforward issue here😢. Interesting how the Indian government has unlocked land "ownership" - this must have had a beneficial effect on economic growth...?

Well, you can't own B-Memo land but you can have your name on it// i THINK, don;t quote me on that!
It's all a bit of a grey area but bottom line is people are protected a bit..

Interesting - maybe the financial value of land ownership could be rethought....
