With such natural challenges, coffee farmers are keen on all parties, communities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), stakeholders and governments to share the global warming hazards by not doing illegal logging and land clearing by burning forests , so that the results of plantations, especially coffee awake its qwality so it can scent the name of Aceh in the eyes of the world.

Dataran Tinggi Gayo merupakan salah satu Kabupaten yang ada di Provinsi Aceh, tepatnya di Kabupaten Gayo Luwes. Letaknya sangat strategis, yaitu ditengah-tengah wilayah Aceh, dengan datarannya yang tinggi dan udara yang sejuk, maka sangat cocok untuk kawasan pertanian, hasil tani yang sangat terkenal disini adalah kopi disamping ada tanaman lain seperti alpukat,namun kopi yang menjadi primadona dari Tanah Gayo yang kwalitasnya telah mendunia, namun ada beberapa hal yang mengganggu pertumbuhan dan hasil dari kopi di Gayo, selain hama yaitu pemanasan global yang sangat berefek terhadap hasil dan kwalitas kopi tersebut. Dengan tantangan alam yang demikian, para petani kopi sangat berharap kepada setiap pihak, masyarakat, Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat (LSM), stakeholder dan juga pemerintah agar sama-sama ikut mensosialosasikan bahaya pemansan global dengan cara tidak melakukan penebangan liar serta bembukaan lahan dengan cara membakar hutan, agar hasil perkebunan, khususnya kopi terjaga kwalitasnya sehingga dapat mengharumkan nama Aceh dimata dunia.
