Found this little guy just hanging out under some leaves near a rice paddy during yesterday’s walk.
Growing up in the desert, we saw toads around us all the time; here in Japan, we get lots of different kinds of toads and frogs. I’m hopeless at identifying the different breeds, but I love the li’l dudes. They’re so cute.
(And they eat all the flies and mosquitos, so, bonus!)
