Here, after a few months of rest, I return to Steemit.
Until now, we have systematically avoided going in this region of Romania because we thought there were many mosquitoes there. But last summer we gathered courage and we finally made a trip in this area. And, surprise, we were very excited about what we found there.
Everything was ok, well beyond any waiting (and, especially, without any mosquitoes). We crossed the Danube River with the ferry near Galati
We crossed Dobrogea. Here is the map of the Danube Delta.
On our way we visited a museum of fishermen's villages. Here are some pictures…
We finally reached the delta in Mahmudia, at the guesthouse where we booked a room. Here's the guesthouse
It is situated on the shore of St. George's Danube
Then the next day we made a wonderful trip to the Danube Delta. It is a miracle of nature!!! Enjoy yourself :
