I slept off listening to the sound of the rain
I woke up to its drizzle and the sound of it gently
I could literally feel them slip away, i mean my pain
I could hear their whisper and echo leave silently
I see the effect and aftermath as it flows amidst the drain
The strength of rain and its flow is so powerful
I love the feel of the rain on my skin
I sometimes feel like a fish in with except without a fin
It drives me on with great laughter and i don't even take gin
The rain is so gentle in my ears and i could hear the sound of a pin
It makes me fearless, daring and yes i always win
With rain it is such a joy to see things come alive, i mean everything
Rain has always been my favourite weather
You might prefer the warmer period or neither
It's not a weather for two as holding each other
It's the weather that makes me think and ponder
I always prefer the rain to fall a bit longer
As i stay close to my window to observe the wonder
What's your favourite period of the year
The period you look forward to that you don't need to bear
You step out with boldness without any fear
I enjoy the feel on my skin as i drag my blanket dear
It might be raining from afar but i always feel it so near
I love rain, i love it when it rains and i don't care what it does to me.
