Natural environments serves as a unique laboratory with plants over ages having natural impacts on humans, as such we only need to discover their real values and uses.

Species: Emilia coccinea (sims)
E. coccinae (SIMS) G. (Asteraceae) is an annual plant commonly found throughout the plain of the Central Africa and widely used in Cameroonian folk as medicine for the treatment of fever , convulsions in children, stomach disorders and gastritis.
Normally the patient can cut three leaves rinse in clean water a chew raw, after which he/she can drink some small amount of water.

This plant normally dries off after flowering and does so more during the dry season since place are extremely dry.

During the rainy season, there is always the availability of this plant since flowering and germination of seeds is fast.
They normally grow around homes randomly and always in clusters, we should endeavor to make use of nature.

This plant really works wonders. I can still remain chewing this plant when I had stomach disorder and instantly I was relieve of my pains.
Plants are indeed a blessing to mankind.

I remeber this plant from my primary schools days! Back then, it was believed that if you cut a leaf from it and rubbed the juice on your palms, you wouldn't feel any pain during beatings (which we had almost everyday in school for late coming! hahhah)
Well, it still hurt, so i guess that one was a myth. lol. Definitely works for stomach ache though.
