This river is considered as one of the holiest rivers, it is said that bathing in the Ganges washes away all sins...lol
People are interested in taking a bath in the river Ganga while visiting all these Dharma Piths...
But the problem lies in two places, bigotry prevents people from taking precautions and that's why people go around without masks.
Moreover, the Ganga water is becoming impure due to accumulation of rotting flowers, leaves and other unnecessary things...
