Hello @jluvs2fly... I have a toy knitting machine a bit like yours above and will find it today :D... I bought it years ago at a second hand shop for a similar price to what you paid so I think you had a lucky find with that machine... I felt really happy when I managed to make it work and produced a long 'scarf' size tube - it was great!
On fact on Saturday I felt I was really good because I went to one of my usual charity shops and they had a Knitmaster machine there - mine are Brothers... Anyway it was too expensive as a second hand item and couldn't afford it so I had to wave good bye to it with tears falling down my chubby cheeks :(
