It was me. I finished it. Surprise!
If I was going to use this pattern again I’d definitely use the two yarns held together, like they recommended in the fIRST PLACE, BUT NO, I DON’T ALWAYS FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS WHICH ISN’T ALWAYS BEST IDEA. Anyways it still turned out pretty good although a bit smaller than I’d like 😂.
It’s also pretty thin but since I live in Texas, where it’s hotter than blue blazes a lot of the time, that’s not much of a problem. Or at least it isn’t right now, we’ll see when it gets colder.
Even though this project is finished I already started working on another baby cardigan....
Thanks for following along! ❤️
You look like a fashion model in a magazine @lizgore! Your sweater turned out beautiful! You may not think it is perfect but it sure looks perfect. Great job! #NeedleworkMonday to you, my dear!
Aw thank you so much! Happy #needleworkmonday to you also!
It turned out really cute!! I love the length of it and the way it drapes! Good for you for finishing.
I don’t always follow patterns to the T either. I like adding in my own variations as I go along ;)
Thanks for sharing the finished project!! I love your pictures too! Those shoes are so cute! 💜
Thank you!! This time my brother was the photographer lol ❤️
Well he did a great job!! 👌🏽❤️
Looks great, it drapes nicely. Sometimes you just have to try to pattern your way first before you go back and try it their way... lesson learned!
Thank you! Probably should read through the pattern more carefully before I start too 😂
I like it that size -it looks absolutely fab! 😄
Thank you!
This turned out really nice! I love the drape of the fabric. How long did it take you complete this? It would have taken me forever! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I like the drape too! As for long it took, About three months.. I was working on a couple different projects at the same time so it took me longer than if I had just focused on this.
What? You knit that?? That's amazing! I love it. It's adorable. And you live in Texas! I'm from there but currently live in Panama. Wow! Just wow!!
Thank you!!
Your cardigan came out nicely done, love the finish, you look so pretty in it and the matching heels and outfit is also cool. I think if you're able to wear it without sweating right now then you could still be cold wearing it during the cold season. Do show us your baby cardigan when is done.
Thank you! I will!
I had to laugh, because I often modify the pattern myself and then I am astonished that not everything turns out as it was described in the pattern :-D
But your jacket is perfect, it fits you very well and I think using the thinner yarn lends it a flowy quality, which I really love. I already searched your jacket on ravlery, I like it so much, perhaps I must try to knit it myself <3
Thank you! And yes! Go for it
That cardigan looks very modern just good for the season @lizgore... I don't tend to follow instructions either so I understand ...
It’s a gamble as to whether it’ll turn out good or not 😂
Not only is the cardigan beautiful, but the photography is awesome! You're a beautiful model! :)
Aw thank you so much! ❤️
