Improving the pattern. Boy's swimsuit

Hello, hello my friends from the HIVE platform and especially the #needleworkmonday community. A few days ago I showed you the step by step of how to make a children's swimsuit, but it turned out to be a little too small for my son and it also bothered him a bit in his private parts because he did not put the lining on him. This time I will tell you how to make modifications to that pattern. So join me in the next step by step:

Step 1. We locate all the materials and tools that we will use for the elaboration of the new swimsuit design. In this case: pattern, scissors, pins, lycra and model pieces.

Step 2. We take the pattern and place it on the fabric, holding it with the pins so that it does not move. We leave 1 cm on each side, except for the part of the leg, which we are going to increase by an additional 3.5 cm.

Step 3. When the front part is cut, a lining fabric is used for the intimate part area.

Step 4. We begin to sew the pieces.

Step 5. We join all the pieces and cut the excess threads.

Ready our new swimsuit model. Longer and more comfortable for our children.

So cool you can make bespoken swimsuits for your family. I always hate it if the trousers of bikinis wander into body parts where they should not :-DDD Tailoring and sewing it oneself would be the solution. Was it complicated to work with the swimsuit fabric (does it glide through the machine well?)
