Happy #NeedleworkMonday!
I was looking forward to completing our community project - the scarf to hang up for the homeless - last weekend, but I had a bunch of stuff going on and didn’t finish. Plus, last week, Alabama had unusually warm weather. We got up to 80 degrees last Wednesday - and it is STILL February!!! 😱
Here is the almost completed scarf.
I have about 8 more rows to go, and if I can knock this out tonight, I can get the encouragement note attached and get it out there Wednesday.
I really like the triple crochet stitch, because it creates this pretty pattern. It’s interesting that the new stitches (well, that are new to you) make you nervous to try until you dive in. What a lesson to learn, right? We have to be willing to step out and try new things because we are only here for a short time, but we are building a legacy for others in our lives to follow. (And don’t be fooled - others ARE watching how you live your life.)

That scarf is coming along, the yarn and the stitch are very pretty. Good luck for getting it out soon. We have freezing weather here, like the Arctic it says on the weather reports!

I was in our local gardens on Saturday - it was full of Spring flowers, amazing as it was so cold!
