#needleworkmonday :: Piggy Boy! by @marblely
Isn’t he such a cutie? @marblely was intrigued by @cryptocariad’s mini pig and the pictures she shared. She decides to make one of her own and names him Piggy Boy. This is one of the best things about #needleworkmonday, pattern sharing and being inspired. In this post she recaps the steps she took to make him come to life. Doesn’t he make you want your own little piggy?
Needlework Monday:Make kettle bag for camping-2/キャンプ用のケトルバッグをつくる-その2 by @aitommylr
What you see here is an embroidery design made by @aitommylr. She is making a bag for her kettle to take on her camping trips. She explains that the process is not easy especially when making a symmetrical design. I can imagine how difficult it was to get it just right but she manages to do it well. This is such a lovely design with beautiful color choice.
Amigurumi Tutorial: “Momo” Sakura CardCaptors character (EN) by @irenenavarroart
@irenenavarroart shares a very clear pictured tutorial on how to make this amigurumi inspired by the Momo character from the anime Sakura CardCaptors. I love how small it is yet still very detailed. If you have never tried amigurumi this post will stir up a desire to!
4 o’clocky #NEEDLEWORKMONDAY PROJECT by @brittandjosie
This post educated me on some of the habits a person with dementia may have. Since they have the need to touch and pick at things @brittandjosie’s sewing class made these tactile pieces for that purpose. These are very helpful and thoughtful handmade pieces that look really nice as well. They were made for a group of demented elderly women, I’m sure they will enjoy these.
