that's weird @pandorasbox , do you think gas can be generated on exhanges like bittrex and such in near future... Only have mac and the webwallet seems difficult to setup so genereate GAS
Bittrex doesn't generate GAS. I think only one or two exchanges generate GAS right now. I imagine in the future this will change.
If you want to collect GAS the best way is to put it in the wallet. I expect a new wallet very soon, maybe today. My suggestion for you is to wait a few days, you won't lose much GAS because of it. Let others figure out which wallet is best to use, then use that.
Also keep in mind that you can only deposit whole shares of NEO. But Bittrex for example charges a small fee (i think 0.01 or 0.1 NEO). Keep this in mind because the wallet rounds your NEO down. If you end up depositing 4.9 because you paid 0.1 fee, then you only get 4 NEO and not 5 or 4.9
that's really good to know. thx @pandorasbox. I hear somewhere that the fee for sending wasn't too low. I'll wait for a better solution then, either a mac wallet or gas on exhanges like bittrex. GAS price has exploded so would be nice to get started with generating them.
Awesome news. But it does not seem like they updated the wallet yet strangely enough, it is still the Antshares one (except for the Neon wallet)
