Hello to all the splinter nerds, this week battle challenge is about an elder in splinterlands called goblin shaman, they have existed longer than any other monsters, they were the first set of edition released[beta]..
It is also one of the most used card on splinterlands in the fire splinter because of its ability, it has two unique abilities which are the weaken and the slow that slows the opponent down and also takes one life away from them....
I had a battle with ciorex, it was a four mana and armored up rule, it is known that the water and life splinter are the best in 4 mana rules but in certain case, the fire splinter can be the best option too, so i used the fire splinter as my deck has no water splinter....
The opponent also came with the fire splinter but our set up was totally different and that was the game changer, he came with range attacks and i came with magic and two monsters that increases my team speed which increases my chance of winning as my teams will attack first...
Merely looking at the set up, it is easy for a pro player to predict the winner..

- CERBERUS & GOBLIN SHAMAN
The three headed monster cerberus is the most suitable to place in the front during 4 mana rules, it can heal and also have high attack power and i used the goblin in second position to slow down the opponent and also its magic attack will cause a little damage to the opponent..
- FLAME IMP & BEETLE QUEEN
The flame imp was used to increase the team speed and it has two magic power as well while the beetle is a healer which is very much needed in battle to supplement the life of the monsters at the front...
- SERPENTINE SPY & HIGHLAND ARCHER
The serpentine spy is a very fast monster and with its sneaky movement is a must used in most battles and the archer range power is good too...
The match ended in round 3 due to my amazing set up and prowess in the arena... i became victorious and emerge the winner...

Reading through your post, all that keeps coming to my head is that "assuming I knew how to play on splinterland, I definitely would have written a very interesting story using the characters"
