Buenos días ,tardes o noches comunidad de Peak D, hoy escribo ya la tercera parte de la serie de publicaciones de la economía y hoy veremos...La necesidad de elegir!!, algo fundamental en la economía e imprescindible en nuestras vidas.
Hemos dicho que el principal problema económico que afronta una sociedad es la escasez , la cual se produce por la diferencia entre las necesidades(ilimitadas) y los recursos existentes (limitados).
Para tomar una decisión económica, es preciso contestar previamente a 3 cuestiones fundamentales:¿Que bienes y servicios producir?,¿Como producirlos? y ¿Cómo distribuirlos?
¿Qué bienes y servicios producir?
Esto supone un orden de preferencias, según los deseos de la sociedad a la cual va dirigido estos bienes y servicios.
Ej: Una familia puede distribuir entre: alimentos , vestidos, educación , invertir en bolsa , vacaciones...Lo mismo les sucede a las empresas cuando toman sus decisiones de ampliar la planta de producción , incorporan una tecnología , abaratar costes , contratar trabajadores especializados, etc .Su elección dependerá de muchos factores , entre los del capital y la mano de obra de que disponga. El estado también tiene que decidir como gastará sus ingresos entre diferentes actividades(educación , sanidad , defensa, obras publicas, etc)y según sus distintos objetivos económicos (crecimiento económico, empleo, estabilidad de los precios)
¿Cómo producirlos?
Es decir, que recursos se van a utilizar y en que cantidad para obtener los bienes y servicios necesarios.
El uso de los recursos debe realizarse de manera eficiente( sin despilfarro innecesario).Es evidente que por el bien de todos , conviene buscar la "eficiencia " en la utilización de los recursos.
La técnica de producción que se emplee también requiere una decisión . La renta de un país y su nivel de conocimiento hagan posible el uso de una tecnología mas o menos avanzada.
¿Para quien producirlos?
Una vez que sabemos que bienes y servicios vamos a producir y hemos diseñado la técnica de producción necesarias , hay que decidir como se van a repartir entre todos los ciudadanos. La respuesta a estas preguntas que haya mas o menos riqueza en los habitantes de un país.
En definitiva , la sociedad debe decidir si destina mas recursos a defensa o sanidad , a investigación o a educación , etc. La actividad económica es una continua toma de decisiones

The state also has to decide how it will spend its revenues between different activities (education, health, defence, public works, etc.) and according to its different economic objectives (economic growth, employment, price stability).
How to produce them?
In other words, what resources are to be used and in what quantity to obtain the necessary goods and services.
Resources must be used efficiently (without unnecessary waste) and it is clearly in everyone's interest to seek "efficiency" in the use of resources.
The production technique to be used also requires a decision. The income of a country and its level of knowledge make it possible to use more or less advanced technology.
For whom to produce them?
Once we know what goods and services we are going to produce and we have designed the necessary production technique, we have to decide how they are going to be distributed among all citizens. The answer to these questions will determine whether there will be more or less wealth among the inhabitants of a country.
short, society must decide whether to allocate more resources to defence or to health, to research or to education, and so on. Economic activity is a continuous decision making process.
