🌺 DILIGENT READ AL-QUR'AN DURING RAMADHAN
💐 Ramadan is the Shah of the Qur'an (The Moon of the Qur'an). So among the practice that is highly recommended in the month of Ramadan is of course reading the Qur'an because of the letter letters of readers will be ten reward.
Your Majesty Rasulillah ﷺ said:
من قرأ حرفا من كتاب الله الم حرف
"Whoever reads a letter from God's book will have a good deed and a good will be rewarded tenfold, I do not say Alif Lam Mim is one letter but Alif one letter, Lam one letter and Meme one letter". [HR. Tirmidhi from Abdullah bin Mas'ud]
That great reward is part of the blessings of the Qur'an as described by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
(كتاب أنزلناه الألباب)
This is a Book We have sent down to you with blessings so that they may pay attention to their verses and to learn the lessons of those who have thoughts. [Surat Shad: 29]
A Mufassir interpreted Lafadh "Mubarok" in the above verse by saying:
اشتغلنا بالقرآن فغمرتنا البركات والخيرات في الدنيا
I preoccupied myself with reading the Qur'an then my life is filled with blessings and various goodness.
From the many blessings that will be gained from the lovers of the Qur'an, we see how the scholars used to be so spectacular in reading the Qur'an so as to be able to put in a very unreasonable amount.
It is Imam As-Syafi'i rodiyallahu anhu, He is every month able to menghatamkan Al-Qur'an up to 30 times. Even when Ramadan is up to 60 times, itupun read in the Prayers.
قال أبو بكر بن زياد النيسابوري سمعت الربيع يقول:
كان الشافعي يختم القرآن في كل رمضان ستين ختمة و في كل شهر ثلاثين ختمة اه
ورواها ابن أبي حاتم عنه, فزاد: كل ذلك في صلاة.
Says Imam Abu Bakr Bin Ziyad An-Nisaburi: I heard Imam Ar-Rabi 'saying:
"Imam As-Syafi'i every Ramadan can menghatamkan Al-Qur'an up to 60 times hataman and every month (outside Ramadlan) 30 times hataman.
According to Imam Ibn Abi Hatim: The 60 hearts of every Ramadan he completed in the prayer. [Al-Hafidh Al-Dzahaby, Siyar A'lamin Nubala, juz 10 p. 83]
Imam Al-Bukhari is also remarkable in terms of alleging the Qur'an.
و قد كان ايمام البخاري (صاحب الصحيح) يصلي في كل ليلة ثلاث عشرة ركعة, و كان يختم القرآن في كل ليلة من رمضان ختمة اه
"Imam Bukhari Sohibus Sahih every night performs 13 Raka'at prayers and unites the Qur'an every night Ramadhan one time Hataman". [Al-Hafidh Ibn Kathir, Al-Bidayah Wan Nihayah, juz 11 p. 31]
The most thrilling in terms of reading the Qur'an is the story of Imam Ibrahim Bin Abi Bakar Bin 'Ayyasy. While dying almost to pick him up and his daughter crying beside him, he said firmly:
يا بنية لا تبكي, أتخافين أن يعذبني الله و قد ختمت في هذه الزاوية أربعة و عشرين ألف ختمة?
"Oh my daughter, do not you cry, are you afraid Allah will torture me, when I have put the Qur'an in the corner of my house as much as 24 thousand times hataman?". [Al-Hafidh An-Nawawi, Muslim Sharah, juz 1 p.79]
Where do we compare the above scholars who love the Qur'an? can we be called lovers of the Qur'an?
