Who could have ever imagined 20 years ago that almost every adult or people in general, in this developed world would have a device that enabled them to connect to people around the globe.
The invention of internet in particular and the technical progress made in general, have shaped our lives in many ways and made this possible.
Naturally the consequences of this technical progresses and in general the development of a global net that makes it possible, has changed profoundly our way to concern and to live our life.
I believe the biggest single effect it has had is that it has become so much easier to get and stay in contact with family, friends, relatives and colleagues and follow up what they are doing.
People never thought that it could have been so feasible!
Furthermore with social network like Facebook, Instagram ,Twitter and similar services of text message and email, a person could reach a much broader and distant audience faster than the invention and the worldwide spread of Internet.
There are many people, in particular students of all ages, and i include myself in this paragraph, that use the net as a tool of research, when for example they have to study for preparing a test or to write articles, or just to take information about whatever the want. Thanks to it, studying at home has become much more easier rather than going to library or sitting in chair during a lesson with the misfortune of not finding what you were looking for.
Material on the net is easily accessible, though sometimes there is just too much material available and with the net students have much more flexibility in terms of their management. No matter where they are and how they find time: internet has the access at what they need.
One could say that Internet and its services allowed the creation of many new "jobs" : Just think about the influencer or the fashion blogger, which sincerely i appreciate for the fact that they have the courage to show them to the world in the outfit or simply when the share everyone what they are doing.
So then: when we can define Internet dangerous?
In my opinion when people prefer spending too much of their time chatting on smartphones, surfing too much time on the net instead of hanging out with friends, doing sport or why not reading a good book.
When a person prefer spending his/ her time on posting the best picture, on searching the best "Facebook status" or when he/ she wants to post on the social media every moments of his/ her life maybe to envy many people.
Keeping this in mind:I'm not judging nobody, everyone is free of doing what they want.
I'm just saying that people have to keep safe the net for children or for cyber bullying victims that everyday have to fight against this "monsters".
People have to feel free of doing whatever they want without being persecuted or blackmailed.
