Everyone loves fractals, a music video made of 3D fractal.
Speaking of fractals, I think that I've heard about the Koch curve, Hilbert curve, Menger's sponge, etc. Birds of Paradise from California abundantly used 3D fractal figures for the music video of the new song "eternal recurrence". That sight is like diving into space.
Julius Horsthuis, a Dutch fractal artist who produced this image. Horsthuis says "Combining mathematical expressions will create such a complex and extra-terrestrial landscape."
In a recent video project, opportunities to see fractals of 3D shapes have increased. In the animation, it was 3D fractal using Maya and Unity and it represented a different building.
Horsthuis said that he zoomed into the universe created by these formulas and added rendering, coloring, lighting. Therefore, this MV is a scenery that found in the process of exploring mathematics to the last rather than Horsthuis's own art.
