How to prioritize your supplements

in #new6 years ago

When it comes to taking supplements or particularly if your the supplement taker who is using supplements for results in the gym whether it is gaining muscle or sliming down or toning up. Trying to take advantage of today's latest and greatest supplements can be challenging with so many different brands and classes of supplements out there it is hard to know which ones are worth your hard earned money let alone worth taking at all. Once, one understands which ones are worth taking it's important to know which ones should be your first buy? What will this article focus on is what should be your number one product to get when you're ready to start investing in supplements? One thing we need to get out of the way, is if are going to ask our selves how we best prioritize our supplements, we have to ask our selves who are we prioritizing supplements for? In other words, what individual did when having in mind while writing this blog. I would say the advice contained in this piece would be tailored for the type gym goers who are serious about making changes to their body and are willing to work out at least say, 4 times a week. Also, on the other hand, this article wasn't written for extreme gym rats who are hitting the gym 7 days a week, having said that they probably still could benefit for the information in this pice.

Now with that out of the way, we will bring everyone up to speed and do a general overview of all the main gym supplement classes that are commonly used today.

1 Proteins

Proteins commonly know as protein powder or protein shakes are probably the most widely used.
Staying true to its name they usually contain lots of protein. They are great for gym goings who are looking to put on extra weight and pack on some extra muscle.

2 Creatine

Creatine also a widely used product mainly used by those who are looking to pack on extra weight. The supplement has also been increasingly sought after by lifters for its ability to help athletes recover quicker from workouts.
In in my personal experience, creatine would always help me add a few extra pounds on the scale and even on the bench press too. The downside of this supplement at least for me was, inevitably when I would stop taking my given creatine supplement I would like clockwork, end up losing a couple pounds.

3 Modern Pre-Workout Formulas

Pre-workouts are a supplement that is mainly used for people who are looking for extra energy and intensity at the gym. Pre-workouts also has a following for its reputation of being able to help people be able to workout for longer periods of time. In addition to having ingredients to help with energy, a lot of the newer pre-workouts are made with ingredients to help with recovery as well pumps during to workouts.

4- Prohormones

Prohormones or testosterone boosters are newer and are beginning to become more widely used. In our opinion, their effectiveness remains to be seen.

Out of these four groups of supplements, we recommend a good pre-workout being your top go-to supplement. The reasoning behind this recommendation comes from a philosophy that working out hard and working out consistently is not only the most important component to success but in fact the only way to get the results you want at the gym. Said another way is if your not working out hard or at least with some level of intensity then you simply will not see any results. One example of this is some who takes protein, Creatine or pro hormones but if that person isn't workout hard or getting the most out of their workout they most likely won't have the same amount of results as someone who is taking pre-workout alone but really is getting the most out of their workouts. Also another reason, we're recommending modern pre workouts over the other 3 categories, is when studying pre-workouts we found out despite the fact pre-workouts are thought of as only a one trick pony. Only helping people get amped up and pumped up for the gym it's actually one more well-rounded supplements we studied, reason being is that most modern pre-workout mixes have a decent amount of ingredients like creatine and beta-alanine that helps with recovery and endurance.

From our research, a good pre-workout should have a 100MG of caffeine along with ingredients like beta-alanine that should help with pumps and recovery. One pre-workout we found that seems to check off all the boxes for a good top shelf pre-workout that's still is reasonably priced and easily bought through Amazon is Calipump, a well around the pre-workout the has its roots in the southern California bodybuilding and fitness s community. For those who are looking for a good pre-workout, I'll leave the link it the here. http://amznly.com/4ab
