Sex is originally made to be enjoyed by mature human beings at appropriate time. It is an essential part of marriage relationship.
It is unfortunate that this good thing made to bring joy in marriage is bringing tales of woes and regrets to some people due to ignorance and inappropriate application.
A boy/girl in secondary school may be physically matured to have sex but because he is not married and in school he is counselled to delay sex considering the implications of it to both his life and education. Unfortunately some young people who gave deaf ear to such counsel have ended up in regret in life.
A young person in school should delay sex till the right time. He has to consider the advantages properly before making choices for or against it to avoid tales of woes and regrets.
The advantage is momentary pleasure which is nothing compared to the disadvantages. These disadvantages rages from sexually transmitted diseases e.g HIV/AIDS, ghonorrea syphilis etc to teenage pregnancy, school dropouts and death. This article is also intended to reduce these unfortunate incidences among our youths a d make them imbibe healthy life style that will not only prolong their lives but make them leave out their ambitions and stand out as assets to our great nation and worthy leaders of tomorrow.
