Last month or so has been very rewarding for me in FPL. It means that my standings in Steem Fantasy League have been improving all along, landing me finally into the top 50. I was well below top 100 just a few weeks ago but it's been a great upwards movement of late. Top 50 has been secured way earlier than I had expected. Here's how the Fantasy League table looks at the top.
For those who don't know, Steem Fantasy Premier League is a fantasy league based on English Premier League,There are about 246 based players competing for prizes. Last season, I was at number 20 at the end and recieved 35 Steem as reward. The winner got nearly $350 .
I am at 1311 points so far, nearly 200 points less than the topper at the moment. It's a big big margin but anything can happen in the fantasy world. Last year too, I was lingering behind before final few weeks when I jumped 25 places to grab a top 20 finish. This time too, good times have began just a few weeks ago. Let's see what happens.
My gameweek score is way above average and better than many players in the Steem league but it could have been better. Folks at the bench scored more than some counterparts on the pitch but it doesn't count as per rules. Digne got red carded so he neither gave any points in GW24 nor will he play the next match. Not what I had brought him in for. Millions of players share my frustration about him though.
