Yes, I agree your content is undervalued compared to a lot of the shit in trending - but I would argue that you are still making HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS OF TIMES more then you would get for banner advertising on your site with equivalent view counts.

You're right- I just get irritated with the shallow nature of the majority of humanity. Just blowing off steam. Besides now I look like a crybaby as the post hts at $45- LOL- In the end the aspect I care about by far the most is dissemination of the information- that's what kills me the most about some of the content on steemit that gets thousands of views where critical info gets ignored by the very same 600 voting for a hotel room post- the very ones that have the most to learn- again just blowing off some steam on how FUBAR this planet currently is- change coming soon : )
