Hazrat Shah Makhdum of Rajshahi (R :) At the historic central Eidgah grounds the main congregation of Eid was held. Rajshahi Metropolitan Awami League president and former Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton, General Secretary of the Wardas party Fazle Hossain Badsha, and others were present in the Eidgah ground on Saturday.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, BNP Chairperson's Advisor Mizanur Rahman Minu, City BNP President and City Mayor Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul, Divisional Commissioner Noor Ur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner SM Abdul Quader, District Council Chairman Mohammad Ali Sarker.
Besides, Eid-ul-Fitr prayers have been held peacefully in hundreds of Eid Grounds of the city and district. There was no news of any nostalgic incident anywhere. After the prayers, special munajat was done to counter the drug and militancy and maintain peace and development of the country.
