Hundreds of vehicles vandalized in front of the secretariat

In front of the secretariat, the activists of the BNP and its associates had vandalized more than 100 vehicles. At the time they also burnt a motorcycle. This incident happened on Tuesday at three o'clock.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police Deputy Commissioner (Ramna) Maruf Hossain Sarkar confirmed this information.

Police detained at least some of them.

Deputy Commissioner Maruf Hossain said Khaleda Zia had vandalized more than 100 vehicles in front of the Secretariat on returning from a temporary court at Bakshi Bazar's Aliya Madrasa field in Old Dhaka. Jatiyatabadi Dal, Jatiyatabadi Dal and BNP leaders and workers have vandalized hundreds of vehicles in front of the Secretariat. They burned a motorcycle parked in front of Bangabazar. On the way to the High Court, several public private vehicles vandalized from the secretariat to the High Court.

Witnesses said that after the secretariat, BNP activists chased them on the way to the educational building's road leading to the Secretariat. They dispersed and ran away towards Bangabazar and the other side escaped to zero point. On the way they vandalized the 'broken vehicles' and vandalized hundreds of vehicles by public private cars parked along the road and parked on the road. They have vandalized the front or rear glasses. They also burn a motorcycle fire in Bangabazar area.

It should be noted that on Tuesday morning, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia appeared in court for her surrender in the Charitable Trust case. A large number of party leaders and activists were present at the court premises. Witnesses returning from the BNP chairperson's court, the leaders and activists have brought this incident when they came out, witnesses said.
