It's no secret that the Venezuelan economy has been in a precarious state since the arrival of President Nicolas Maduro Moros to power in 2013. From that time on, Venezuela was at the beginning of the biggest social, political and economic crisis in the country's history.

This terrible situation has prompted Venezuelans to do all sorts of tricks to get enough income to sustain themselves in a country where the currency is practically becoming salt and water.

Many Venezuelans have found in the Internet a kind of " shelter " in what would be a new way to obtain income in a sustained way and safe from the monstrous inflation that devours the Bolivar day by day. From making large amounts of money in online games and then selling it for real money, to being Freelancers or being users of sites like Steemit, Minds or UpTrennd which pay their users for posting and making quality content.

Crypto currencies have become tremendously important in the Venezuelan population and this is known by businesses who also have to adapt to the very complex situation that the Latin-American nation is living.

One such business is the famous fast food chain Burger King. Which thanks to an alliance with CryptoBuyer, it has launched a new form of payment in which they accept crypto currencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dash, Litecoin or Tether.

At the time of this post, this option is only available for one of the Burger King's establishments located in the country's capital, Caracas. However, plans indicate that during the course of 2020 this payment option will be available in more and more establishments..

The growth of Cryptobuyer in South America, especially in Venezuela, is another example of how this region is ahead of the curve in adopting cryptocurrency as a real method of payment. - Jorge Farias, Cryptobuyer CEO.

In Venezuela, for several years now, businesses have accepted foreign currency as a form of payment, the US dollar being the main and most relevant, and this is so for the simple reason that the Bolivar is a currency that devaluates at an impressive rate. Now, there are more and more businesses that accept crypto currencies, mainly because of the facilities they provide, and consequently more and more Venezuelans are willing to use them even as a form of savings.

It is for this reason that many developers and allies of crypto currencies are so interested in marketing campaigns to invite the population to adopt crypto currencies as an alternative to FIAT. Thus offering a way for Venezuelans to obtain new sources of income, a refuge for their savings and a payment option that is becoming more and more simple to use.
