For all people wondering what happened with Alphabay and if it will come back or they flew away with the bitcoins of the users, today a news article appeared explaining what could have caused the dissapearance of Alphabay from the deep web

The article stated Alphabay, the biggest market on the deep web was shut down due to International law enforcements. Alphabay was founded in 2014 and was a successor of the Silk Road and grew even bigger by 2017. Alphabay was known for selling illicit narcotics and fraudulent credit cards. Wall Street Journal reporter Robert McMillan details the investigation was conducted by law enforcement agencies from several countries including Thailand, the U.S., and Canada.

Haha true, but I don't think that's because of the Alphabay shutdown, they didn't stole much BTC by going offline or to say it better it could have been a lot more if they wanted
