Boss Of Yamaha Movistar, Lin Jarvis confess or not to tell the future of Rossi. But he hopes The Doctor Valentino Rossi immediately clarify his status in MotoGP.
The statement was made by Jarvis when interviewed by MotoGP commentator Matthew Birt during his second pre-season test at Chang's International Circuit, Buriram, (Thailand). On that occasion, the team actually wanted to at least see Rossi finish a few races earlier this year. he said
It was done to measure how much competitiveness Rossi showed. "Yesterday we were actually in Manila (Philippines) for a promotional event and Valentino explained to the media there, now he must have the intention and desire to continue," said Jarvis as quoted by Cyclenews, Friday (16/2/2018) .
Jarvis said the team would expect Rossi to remain part of the team manufacturer along with Vinales at least until 2019. However, the team can not confirm whether the six-time world champion in the MotoGP class wants to renew the contract a year or two with Yamaha?
"I can assure you that nothing can be done at the moment, but Rossi will clarify his own future," he said.
