Over the past several months I have been seeing the occasional story about China and fishing in strange waters. Fishing grounds that do not belong to China.
The first story came from around the Galapagos Islands, an area where fishing is completely banned.
Then this week in Japan, the Japanese Coast Guard is warning that an aggressive Chinese fishing fleet has entered its waters and posing a danger to Japanese fishing vessels.
And then comes this little article.

In case you have not been paying attention China was hit with massive floods this year as well as an invasion of locusts.

In the US, Corn Prices are soaring.
So what does this all mean?
It means I hope you are paying attention.
Actions always speak louder than words. China is actively and aggressively seeking to secure food supplies for its people. When 1 billion people need to eat, Brother I am telling you, they can EAT!
Make sure you are putting a little extra aside to secure your own food supplies. On a completely anecdotal basis, I have been noticing a little difficulty finding bread flour.
When a nation can not feed itself, look out because they become dangerous, either to themselves or the people around them.
