Do you know that No more Swaziland?
Do you know that the famous African country, Swaziland has been changed to the kingdom of eSwatini?
King Mswati III declares the name change during the nation’s independence celebration day from British rule. The name change has been long coming since the independence. Moreover, it is common believe among the eSwatini people, that Swaziland was a mix of the Swazi language and English- and they hate it.
Swaziland (now kingdom of eSwatini) is a landlocked country that shares boundary with South Africa, and Mozambique. Swaziland did not revert to their originated name as most African countries do after gaining independence. But at last, they have reverted and now officially kingdom of eSwatini after 50 years of independence, even as it was declared during their recent celebration of the Independence Day, where many gathered joyfully form nooks and crannies of the country to grace the special event.
So if you do not want to see the other side of the eSwatini people, do not call them Swazilians, it is now official, they are the Kingdom of eSwatini.
And of course, the name change will affect their constitutional system, cause the rewritten of the university of Swaziland, their police force e.t.c...
