What is ARK? Might need many words to describe it.
Ark is an ecosystem created by community of 30+ people including developer, network engineers, marketers, even musician which has their own skills, it is really necessary for a blockchain to have a good security and stability while in other hand a coin or a token should have a good consumer adoption for it is a currency, not only tradable but should be usable on a real world to buy things. The purpose should be something like games, shops, transferring money,etc, which is not easy to be done with real money considering many things. But to make those things possible, a spread of the words should be done, and with many people with their own specific community on board, this job would be easier.
ARK will use Delegated Proof of Stake similiar to Lisk and Crypti blockchain with some improvement, should be an expert of this thing because the team have one of Lisk team with them and most of them are from Lisk forging community. The DPoS and specification will be :
- 51 active forging Delegates
- 125 Million ARK
- 2 Ѧ block reward
- 8s block time (might be adjusted)
- 25 transactions per block
- A splitted weight for votes to reduce the possibility of a person or group outweighing the entire voting weight and increased the cost of a takeover (reducing the possibility of an attack), the weight of the user's vote will be splitted equally for each vote he gave, its different from previous voting scheme where the weight will be the same for every vote. - SmartBridge data field for custom use and bridging blockchains
SmartBridges is one of ARK main features here, SmartBridges connect different blockchains to the core of ARK. This allows linked blockchains to send and receive a wide variety of data. This aspect can also be utilized by centralized services as well to provide Blockchain as a Service (BaaS), outside of the blockchain ecosystem. The way in which this groundbreaking feature is able to achieve these significant features is through ‘Encoded Listeners’, which respond to specific triggers found within the SmartBridge. These listeners allow for their coded autonomous systems to recognize any trigger function notices created by a user. It would be something like these pictures:
It might look simple, but the uses could be more than that, especially for regular people or newbies on cryptoworld, most of them keeps asking questions about what is eth what is btc,etc, something simpler might be needed in the near future when mass adoption of blockchain technology occured. ARK ROADMAP
1. Atlas – ARK Token Exchange Campaign(ARK-TEC)
- Starting Monday, November 7th and lasting till Sunday, December 11th 2016 with minimum threshold to start set at 2000 BTC.
