During an interview I conducted with Max Keiser of The @KeiserReport on RT, Max spoke on why he was no longer doing the show in London, but instead travelling to different places with Stacy Herbert to shoot the show on location.
Max first shot his show from Paris and then London with the incredible view we all remember, but according to Keiser, things weren't as good as they seemed. Max was threatened by regulators and when I asked what he was threatened with, Max said,
"They were threatening in a very belligerent manner that made us feel as if our safety was not exactly secure. On behalf of some energy companies (mainly) Ofcom which is their regulator in the UK, they work with corporations to stifle speech. In the UK they're trying to get fracking in in a big way. The biggest group of activists and journalists that have been murdered over the past ten years have been those in the environmentalist movement. The ecological warriors if you will. People say journalists are getting killed in this country or that country but the biggest group has been environmentalists. They've been killed. Hundreds of them."
This is the first time Max has dug into this problem publicly and it's startling news. Ofcom (The Office Of Communications) is a government mandated regulatory authority for the broadcasting, telecommunications and postal industry in the UK.
Ofcom tends to have the final say over media mergers, buyups and most importantly, what is said on television period.

Unbelievable. I hear all the time people saying "hey its a free country" and then they're often the same people who also say things like "you can't say that....".
It makes me so sad that most of my fellow brits have no idea that the beautiful English language, with all its colloquialisms is being slowly eroded in a nightmarish 1984 manner, whilst our ability to speak our own individual truth went out of the window a long time ago, even if it is bigoted or factually incorrect, I believe you have the right to make yourself look a complete tit....I mean, just look at the politicians....
Not too surprising for me. It's happening here in the US and probably more so in the UK - the ability of TPTB to control the narrative is eroding, and they don't like it one bit. Those with power will not give it up willingly, or easily. I'm afraid it's going to get much worse before it gets any better.

Anti fracking protectors in the UK have really appreciated Max and Stacey's efforts to highlight the horrors of fracking. We are horrified that he was so threatened that he felt that he needed to move away from Britain. Please let him know that we are grateful for the warning he squarely delivers in this interview.
