In this video, I sit down with author and economic analyst John Sneisen to talk about a recent hilarious development out of Norway. Despite Norway being one of the most taxed nations in the world, the government implemented a voluntary tax in case citizens want to pay more to the government. The tax brought in just $1,325.

While voluntary pools or "taxation" can be an excellent idea when there are no mandatory taxes, a voluntary tax on top of out of control state extortion is nothing less than insane!

John Sneisen who is Norwegian breaks down the facts and translates some local Norwegian articles to provide further context which no one else is talking about.

Norway's centrally planned, manipulated, indebted system is destructive and needs to be called out. With taxes on assets, toll roads, attempts to tax trucks off the road, the destruction of small businesses and UN protocols running rampant, Norway is quickly headed the way of all dramatically socialist societies, a massive crash.

Voluntary tax is a misnomer. Tax is never voluntary. I do not think we should put to much analysis into this 'voluntary tax' proposal. It is more kind of play from the Conservatives: Hey, guess, what we do think the taxation is high enough. But feel free to pay more if you want to. So, the intention was not to increase taxation per se. Of course, I did notice that the Socialist prime minister Jonas Gahr Store, a jellylike and spineless persona, criticized the initiative. If he were a 'Real' socialist, he would gladly give away his 8 million fortune to Society and his fellow comrades. We deserve the politicians we elect is guess.

Voluntary tax... lol

looks like these freaking Norwegians went full retard :D
insanely funny indeed.

Voluntary tax on top of involuntary theft. 😝

The brainwashing must be very strong with the contributors of the $1,325!

Without a doubt! And considering the amount that was accumulated, it couldn't have been a rich person, it had to be some pretty stupid broke people. A hundred at a time. LOL

the $1,325 probably came from the people who "idealized" the tax... you know.. they tried to kick the can down the road and nothing happened.. lol

Amazing that some people still paid

@joshsigurdson, in Sweden the Taxes are insanely high at the same time as most swedes got full confidence in our tax agency (Skatteverket) which got fifth in rep in a survey by SIFO in 2016

In tax we trust!

You could not make this stuff up!

I can laugh all day to this stuff!

They probably already pay like 70-85% in taxes LoL!

Totally fucking agree. As a Norwegian, the politics in this country dreads me. The law of Jante.

@joshsigurdson Ha-ha rarely get a laugh from taxation LOL 😃

Norway: 'Hey guys, want to pay more tax?'
Norwegians: 'Lol, no.'

Stinking governments and their stinking taxes, it's the only thing they can do right. They make me sick to the stomach.
