The deceased were identified as Emranul Haque Sohel (34) and Imamul Haque Munna (22), both sons of late Abdul Haque of Basantpur village in Chouddagram of Comilla. Jasim Uddin, 26, son of Nesar Ahmad, and his younger brother Md. Ibrahim, 23, of Karitola Bazar-Sanggan Chor Laurench village under Kamalnagar upazila of Laxmipur district. Mohiuddin Rashed, 35, son of Rafiqul Islam, 35, son of Sirajul Islam of village Sreepur of Chuadgram and son of Ilias member of Brihanichi area of Bherichi area of Feni.
Labor councilor Sarwar Alam of Bangladesh Embassy in Riyadh said that DNA tests will be needed to identify the burnt bodies. It is known from the cigarette smoke that the fire originated.
