“আবু হুরাইরা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেনঃ নবী (সাঃ) বলেছেনঃ ঈমান ধ্বংসকারী সাতটি বিষয় থেকে বেঁচে থাক। সাহাবাগণ বললেনঃ হে আল্লাহর রাসুল! সেই বিষয়গুলি কি? তিনি বললেনঃ (১) আল্লাহর সাথে শিরক করা, (২) জাদু করা, (৩) আল্লাহর যথার্থ কারণ ব্যতিত যাকে হত্যা করা নিষিদ্ধ করেছেন তাকে হত্যা করা, (৪) সুদ খাওয়া, (৫) (অন্যায়ভাবে) ইয়াতীমের সম্পদ খাওয়া, (৬) যুদ্ধ চলাকালে জিহাদের ময়দান থেকে পলায়ন করা, (৭) সতী-সাধ্বী মুসলিম রমনীর উপর ব্যভিচারের মিথ্যারোপ করা, যে কখনও তা কল্পনাও করে না।” [বুখারীঃ ২৭৬৬]
