After fleeing from Myanmar, for the last two months, 1,300 74 Rohingya families have taken shelter in the zero line of Tamuwah border in Naikhkangchhari of Bandarban. There they are not even scared. Myanmar soldiers are constantly threatening to raise their arms to patrol the border. Local representatives say that if the Rohingyas do not move away from the empty line, there is a fearsome situation in the border. The BGB officials said they will soon be taken to the camp.
Like all other Rohingyas, they are landless. One Rohingya, who has taken refuge in Zero Point, said that I have survived any kind of baby. Myanmar patrols in front of the border every night - it fires us. I have been suffering from zero points for two months. We do not mind going to the camp.
Though the Rohingya government is expected to run away from the border, the administration has not taken any decision regarding the Rohingyas staying in Zero Point on the Thumu border. Local Rohingyas may feel tense due to the border.
Union Parishad (UP) Chairman, AKM Jahangir Alam, said, "Our request to the government is to be taken as soon as possible to the scheduled camps. '
