I don't believe mma has produced any deaths like boxing has, its very rare for boxers to expire in the ring or due to injuries soon after a fight.
With the recent development and the Mayweather vs Mcgregor fight scheduled for August 26 in my hometown of Las Vegas, do you think Mcgregor is taking a bigger risk than he realizes by agreeing to fight arguably the best technical fighter of the last couple decades or our lifetime? Mcgregor is not a professional boxer. Mcgregor is a professional fighter with many different skills set but is not technically at a level to compete with a high caliber professional and I think we are going to witness Mayweather strategically and surgically pick Connor apart until Connors corner throws in the towel. Conor is risking reputation but much more importantly his health by putting himself in front of someone far superior. I believe this is a money grab and Connor Mcgregor will be smart enough to bow out before he does too much damage to his body, although his ego and legacy may take a beating from one of the best fighters of our time, the 40 year old Mayweather, I believe this will finally be Mayweather a last fight!
